First Thoughts After My First Experience Of Netherlands and Belgium Racing – Connie Obrien

The past 2 weekends racing in the Salverda Omloop Van Der IJsseldta and the Spar Flanders Diamond UCI Tour races have been a huge amount of fun and a big learning experience. Racing in bunches consisting of 170 women at high speeds takes more than your average kiwi riders ability. The biggest thing I’ve learnt so far is that positioning is critical. Looking forward to a few weeks of local kermesse racing in preparation for Tour De Femmine
