I’m a 16 year old cyclist from Auckland. I have been on the bike for as long as I can remember but started schools racing for both road and track in 2016 and have loved it ever since. So far I have been cycling for six years and doing a bit of triathlon as well. When I was younger I would watch my older sister race and see how much fun she was having which was what initially drew me into the sport.
I want to race for BMWC to be a part of a super supportive team and to learn as much as I can from the other riders. It’s an awesome opportunity for me to develop my cycling career and to have heaps of fun! BMWC gives me a chance to be in a team with a bunch of like-minded women to help me to learn and develop more as a rider and a person.
My ultimate goals include racing at junior road and track worlds and making it into a pro women’s team to race in Europe.
Some cyclists that inspire me are Tiffany Cromwell and Kate Archibald. I enjoy watching them race and would love to be like them one day.
I love to compete in as many races as possible. My Baradene team won the north island secondary schools team time trial for 2021, I came fourth at criterium nationals in 2020 and can’t wait for many more successes with the BMWC team.
