After a couple of failed attempts, I properly started cycling on the track in 2016 when I was 13 years old. Prior to this I was a competitive dancer but spent a lot of time around bikes as my dad and sister were both cyclists. I have always done road to support my track but have recently decided that road is where my heart is and where the most opportunities lie.
Since before I even started cycling, I would see BMWC riders in their pink kits and knew I wanted to be just like them one day. Aside from the pink kits, Patrick and his team really know their stuff and have produced some world class women road cyclists – all who I look up to. I am extremely grateful to be part of this team and hope to continue its success.
My best result on the road so far was at this year’s Elite Road Nationals where I came 3rd in the U19 women’s Road Race. On the track I hold 4 National and 1 Oceania title. I haven’t quite matched this on the road yet but am sure that being a part of BMWC will help me to turn this around.
