Tiree Robinson

Kia Ora, my name is Tiree. I have a background in competitive Artistic Gymnastics. I switched to Road Cycling towards the end of 2019 and completely fell in love.

Road Cycling for me provides a sense of freedom, challenge and growth. I love to push my body to see what I am capable of. I find satisfaction in working hard in my training and competing at my best. I love the learning journey that Road Cycling has taken me on.

I am so excited to be part of Black Magic Women Cycling Team. The team philosophy of paving the way for young female kiwi cyclists is something I am very proud to be part of. The team environment is crucial for sharing knowledge and skills and supporting one another in achieving our goals.

It’s inspiring to see strong females excelling in their line of work and paving the way for future generations. The Female Road Cycling scene is growing and developing so much. 2022 had a lot of milestones including the first Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift. Niamh Fisher Black winning the first Under 23 UCI World Championships category is such an achievement for New Zealand cycling. It is so cool to see New Zealand female athletes achieving amazing things. I dream to go professional and race in a World Tour team and to be part of the movement where all athletes are seen.
