Meet Alia, our first-year Elite rider who’s balancing academic studies and racing her bike like a pro. 🌟 In 2024, Alia raced in Italy as part of the DUCA academy with no expectations, just a big willingness to learn. Her progress in the technically and physically challenging Italian showed her potential 🚴‍♀️💨

🌍 This taste of high-level racing has only fueled her desire for more, and we can’t wait to see what she can do this year! 🚀✨

💬 “I’m looking forward to racing with Black Magic because this team offers great opportunities that can pave the way for further cycling careers. I’m also just grateful that there’s a team in New Zealand that supports women’s cycling to the extent that Black Magic does. The road to achieving bigger goals isn’t straightforward, so any guidance or support from home can go a long way.
