Holly Bishop

🌟 Welcome Holly to Black Magic pb Tineli! 🌟

We are thrilled to introduce Holly, one of our powerful and multi-talented riders from Saint Kentigern College—the place where our journey began! 🙂

Holly is a versatile athlete; she can time trial, climb, and deliver impressive power to outpace her competitors. Her incredible performance at the CNZ Nationals Road Race showcased her strength, setting the pace in the lead group and securing a well-deserved 2nd place after an impressive effort in the time trial. 🚴‍♀️🏆

Having had a taste of European racing in 2024 as an U17, Holly is excited to return this year with her teammates to take on the best riders and teams in the sport. Under the expert guidance of coach Georgia Williams, Holly’s athletic potential is being honed to perfection. Her training in the beautiful Wanaka sun and mountains over summer will surely pay off when she heads to Europe in July. 🌄💪

Like her role model Lile Neve, Holly is an inspiration and leader for her school cycling teammates. We hope to see many more riders follow in her footsteps. 🚴‍♀️✨

Here’s what Holly had to say: 💬 “I am thrilled to join the Black Magic women’s U19 cycling team this year and have the opportunity to race alongside such a talented and dedicated group of girls. This opportunity presents a valuable chance for me to push my limits and further develop as a cyclist. I am particularly looking forward to the challenge of racing in Europe, which will expose me to new levels of competition and racing as a team. There is some tough competition and difficult courses but that’s what makes it so exciting. I appreciate the support from our coaches, volunteers, and sponsors. We wouldn’t have this opportunity without them. I am eager to contribute to the team’s success and hope that as a team we return to NZ having smashed our goals.” – Holly 🎤

Bring it on in Europe! 🚴‍♀️🇪🇺🇳🇿
