As we count down the days to our first race together as a team we talked to our local rider Rhylee Akeroyd on her thoughts ahead of this years edition of the Yunca Junior Tour Of Southland.

The Yunca Junior Tour of Southland is in my opinion the most prestigious junior race in New Zealand. As a second year U19, this years tour will be my last of 6 so I really want to make the most of it.

It is going to be our teams first race together after a messy start to our calendar and I am excited to meet all of the girls.

Although there are a few changes to both the course and the logistics, a big thank you to the committee for putting us as the riders first and ensuring the race can go ahead.
