When I started road cycling, I had no idea of the possibilities. Joining Black Magic provided an immediate route through NZ competition leading into international racing. It also helped me to learn to work within a team and benefit from their skills and experience. I was able to bounce of the knowledge and expertise of the management and use their connections to earn a spot in a European team. Without this pathway I never would have been able to sign my first world contract and do what I love for my job.
